About Us
Millicent Nigrosh, known professionally as Mikki, is a well known artist working in multiple art forms, including sculpting, painting, as well as jewelry design and manufacture. Her work as a silversmith and goldsmith has been sold nationwide as well as her fabric designs and paintings. Her success as a book illustrator has earned her name in the Library of Congress. Her latest endeavor of sublimating ink onto ceramic tiles has evolved through her award winning photography and knowledge of graphic arts. She majored in Art Design at Brooklyn College and took courses in classical, modern and advertising art at The Pratt Institute with further study at the Boca Raton Museum in Florida.
Laurence Nigrosh earned a degree in Economics from Brandeis University. His business background includes the development of his own manufacturing company in the packaging field. He also co-founded and created one of the largest preservation supply companies in the country. His travels through the Orient taught him a keen sense of color and composition which he brings to the creation of Photo-Tiles.
